LEADING US ALONG
Music has a way to reach our hearts,
vibrations and melodies bring us new starts,
it vibes us up and sends us on a high,
believing we can fly and reach for the sky.
It penetrates deeply within,
the words and tunes we continuously sing,
it bends the mind and leads us on paths,
filling our lives with joy and laughs.
It leaves a deep imprint on our ways,
some songs brighten the steps of our days,
others take us into the moody blues,
the heavy metal where darkness pursues.
Have we ever thought about the songs we sing,
how it lifts or drops us - does this bell ring,
how many times have we followed the words,
are we even aware when the change occurs.
