TERRIFIED AND BEWILDERED
D-Day arrives and we must give account,
our bill is issued with the final amount,
the circle of life closes around us,
terrified and bewildered we land under the bus.
Our entire life is thrown in the light,
our deepest secrets can't hide in the night,
we have no strength to rise and fight,
all our "friends" have disappeared out of sight.
Our every deed is thrown in the open,
but they forget the before and after that's broken,
it's very wrong and out of context,
but they just rush from one to the next.
We're surrounded with nowhere to run,
it's heaven or hell, like a loaded gun,
up or down are the only ways out,
what will we do, to who will we shout.
