TREADING WATER
Why do we have life, why are we born, what are we actually doing here, why were WE selected out of all the thousands of sperm and egg cells, or is this DNA body not us at all, but merely a vessel that carries us...that all of us is carried within the spirit that awakens at conception and starts life growing?????? What is our journey???? We arrive into a family, hopefully, learn the things they teach us in school, study for a career or find a job so we can earn an income to pay for a home, a car, and that which we yearn for. Yet, this is merely the physical and material journey, but it takes up almost all our waking time...it is as if the world is purposely programmed to keep us so busy that we can't get to the actual journey. Out of the 24 hours in a day, we spend 8-9 at work, another 3-4 preparing and getting dressed and driving to work and back and then we sleep for 7-8, leaving us with a mere 4 hours a day for play and developing the rest of us....soul, heart, mind and spirit....this is not possible and that is why we have to learn from young to balance all this and the material world while we work and play......so we take the virtues and values, morals and ethics with us to work and play, developing these skills and abilities while we earn for what we yearn in the material world, so in the material world we tread water by remaining in the same place, but spiritually we develop our morals, virtues and values daily to grow from them and fulfill our experiences with wisdom...and from this stems true happiness.....
