CONQUERING TRIALS
Life is a conveyor belt that keeps on turning,
taking us along as our lives keep on burning,
we can kick and scream, rant and rage,
but none of it helps to turn the page.
We must look within to find the reason,
why we can't cope with the worldly treason,
we need to search for what we lack,
to get our lives back on the track.
Circumstances we cannot change
the way we react we can rearrange,
we gain the knowledge to overcome,
we learn the skills with which to run.
It's the lack in us we need to fix,
learn what to take and how to mix,
become equipped to pass any test,
