A NEW TIME
Generation after generation repeat the same history,
we continually recycle yesterday's misery,
we don't seem to learn from the records kept,
the damage and injustices that through wars are met.
We are meant to study and learn from the past,
not repeat it again for violence to last,
it's up to each person alive today,
to seek deeper answers and find a new way.
Traditions and cultures are for the physical,
the flesh, earthly rules apart from the spiritual,
it uses fear and treats and restrictions,
bringing much doubt and contradictions.
To make thing new and change the world,
we need to go deeper than fleshly rituals,
we need to see the reasons behind,
through eyes that are spiritual this we can find.
