RISING UP
When laying fresh foundations we find the truth,
conforming our traditions onto paths of worth,
as knowledge increases our minds become wise,
lifting us from darkness as we rise.
Within God's wisdom we find all clarity,
refreshing the souls of all humanity,
we need to lay the corner stone of purity,
with virtues and values that brings us surety.
The building blocks of truth are laid,
cemented with love is how a home is made,
traditions and cultures then gain a new life,
as we put an end to all violence and strife.
Following the ways of man lead to a fall,
when we heed Gods call we'll all stand tall,
His ways are easy and pure and true,
lifting us out of our doldrums so blue.
