GUIDING LIGHT
Being connected sets us free,
gives us clarity with which to see,
a light on how we're meant to be,
guiding us to the knowledge tree.
The worst thing in life is to be in the dark,
helpless and confused not finding a spark,
it's scary and frustrating and leads to strife,
as fear drives us on like a stabbing knife.
We commit our spirit into union with divinity,
awakening within us a sacred ability,
we find through the truth a deep understanding,
lifting us from the darkness so degrading.
The peace of knowing brings deep serenity,
the beauty and joy of calm tranquility,
we accept the Holy Spirit as our guiding light,
leading us through the darkest of night.
