BROODING SILENCE
When falling into traps like we all will do,
it's not a crime the truth to pursue,
there is always a way through every situation,
we need not remain within the degradation.
Silence is deadly so speak your mind,
it's within the exposure the escapes we find,
bring it into the light to clearly see,
the truth of the situation like it's meant to be.
When hidden inside it sprouts a root,
attracts even more from out of the soot,
it grows and grows into a mighty tree,
blocking our view so we cannot see.
Like poison it penetrates throughout our life,
adding fear and doubt which brings fort strife,
deeper and deeper we sink into the mud,
breaking and fighting and spilling blood.
