PROTECTION FROM THE STORM
The strength of man lays in truth and purity,
the solid foundation that brings us surety,
an enormous shield to avert attacks,
safe protection that will cover our backs.
How is this possible at the tender age of four,
even younger than that we are dragged through evils door,
morals are dashed and our purity slashed,
we are broken in as we're mauled and mashed.
Trapped as victims of a spiritual war,
it's throat wide open wanting ever more,
captive in bodies filled with pain and rage,
kept in the dark so we can't turn the page.
Fighting each other won't stop our trouble,
evil of darkness keeps coming on the double,
to come to the light is how we win the game,
reclaim our purity and bring truth to reign.
