HOLD VIRTUES HIGH
When theft is rife we fight and strife,
take revenge and yield the knife,
we're angry and rage with bitter resentment,
at all the unfairness that ruins our contentment.
We will do so much better with the right kind of attitude,
reminding ourselves that possessions aren't our fortitude,
to hold on to our virtues and values take precedence,
over all the objects we treasure in our residence.
Material possessions are there for our use,
that's its only value that we must peruse,
it must never destroy our honour and truth,
allow our possessions to make us uncouth.
We try and avoid the courts at all cost,
hold on to our virtues that we value the most,
it's easier to replace an object that's dead,
then to repair our humaneness living in dread.
