ALL WORK TOGETHER
Instructions are written by the smart and clever,
but forget the finer details of never and ever,
those that come behind them stumble and fall,
they miss important steps to help them stand tall.
So it's trial and error as we fall and rise,
tripping and tramping each other with cries,
the instructions are written with no one to ask,
so most of our lives we hide behind a mask.
If ALL are able to surrender their pride,
admit their mistakes without needing to hide,
agree that life is a work in progress,
finding solutions together as part of the process.
Stop blaming each other and pointing fingers,
we remove the anger and bitterness that lingers,
we don't break down to build another,
we lay foundations where none will smother.
