CORRUPTION
We work to receive rewards to survive,
we work for a home and to stay alive,
before we start we're told what to do,
which are the duties we'll need to pursue.
When asked or expected to cross a line,
do corruption that will deaden our shine,
we need to refuse regardless the reward,
for after the act it brings much discord.
Paths of deceit spiral down into darkness,
there where our lives are wrapped in starkness,
sleepless nights and fears abound,
as our deeds keep following us around.
Short tempered and miserable we become,
snapping at loved ones who want some fun,
it starts destroying our entire life,
as days and nights become filled with strife.
