LIGHT'S MISSION
Being a light can be rather hectic,
when darkness seeks help it becomes erratic,
they come running to the light to seek an escape,
pushing and shoving outside the gate.
It happens unexpectedly like a thief in the night,
we get such a fright that we take to flight,
but there's nowhere to run as we're surrounded,
we gotta find another way for the truth to be sounded.
Once we realize what is going on,
that they're cornering us to see how we get along,
they pray we won't fall but find our way through,
so they can observe and see what is true.
The mission of a light is to show the way,
expose and reveal that which darkens our day,
unravel and explore and loosen the snares,
unlock the chains and lift all the cares.
