CROSSING LINES
For what do we work, for who do we achieve, what is a reward and what is an entitlement. How do we choose which job. Normally we receive a contract to sign which lays out the duties expected from us in return for a salary. These are however vague, but protect us to a degree. When expected to cross a moral line into cheating, deceit and dishonesty, we can refuse by falling back on our contract showing that dishonesty was not mentioned when we agreed to accept the position, however when we refuse the boss we probably won't get any further in this company, if that was our intention, and must be content to remain where we are, which in the long run is better for us, because when we start down the path of deceit we spiral down very fast and end up despising ourselves, having sleepless nights, becoming miserable and short tempered, resulting in problems at home as well, eventually destroying our entire life. It is simply not worth becoming involved in dishonest dealings. A little corruption spreads into our entire life....
