GOOD TREE
A tree that is good will bear good fruits,
providing the soil yields nourishment to the roots,
when it's starved and neglected it will wither and die,
bring forth no fruits to smile at the sky.
We can plant all good seeds in a virgin mind,
then abuse it and defile by being unkind,
the growth of the seeds will be stumped and skew,
anger and disgust will brew like a stew.
More than education makes a moral nation,
it takes daily nurturing to grow elation,
the very foundations must be built on morals,
virtues of excellence that squash any quarrels.
