TRAPS OF RIGHTS
We all have the right to live in safety,
regardless where we are to be treated justly,
when earnings and privileges are disguised as rights,
we end up demanding with riots and fights.
We burn and destroy committing crimes,
throwing debt upon debt upon our crowns,
there is always a price that must be paid,
often some favours that need to be made.
Deeper and deeper we fall into traps,
sooner or later we will take all the raps,
they always come to collect their debts,
gathering us all in their filthy nets.
It's a terrible trap and pay we surely will,
when the judge drops the hammer and issues the bill,
there are no excuses that will set us free,
we know deep inside that it couldn't be.
