HELP INTO THE LIGHT

When we become lost in life's maze, we become extremely frustrated and annoyed at the helplessness we face. It feels like we are caged animals which is very scary to face alone and very, very alone we do feel. We can't see beyond our suffering and pain and become totally self absorbed and agitated with those around us when they don't seem to understand and see our anguish. We don't know where to go or find REAL, GENUINE HELP, that is if we even have the energy or inclination to seek help. We are normally so run down and exhausted fighting the constant pain and torment that we CAN'T EVEN REACH OUT FOR HELP. It really feels like life is drowning us and times are very dark. We are so filled with regrets, remorse, confusion and doubts, the last thing we need is someone to shine a light on our faults, flaws and mistakes....we know them all to well and need no reminders....it is like a trigger on a gun and we explode into a rage of built up anguish and turmoil - it comes pouring out in a continuous flow. What we DO NEED is someone to open a door for us, where it is clear and bright, so we can escape the dark hole and see exactly where we are and what is really happening. We need to be lifted above the dark hole and the best way is to separate ourself from the situation we're in...take a few steps back. AS LONG AS IT IS HIDDEN IN OUR MIND, SOUL AND HEART, OUR EYE CANNOT SEE IT AND IT KEEPS GOING ROUND AND ROUND MAKING US CRAZY IN OUR HEAD. To see the light we must bring our anxieties into the light and we do this, or rather I do it by writing it on a piece of paper. NOW IT IS OUTSIDE OF ME, IN FRONT OF ME - SEPARATE FROM ME and I can look at it and see it. When we try and help each other we look at the solution and not the problem. As we search for the solution so the web unravels and clarity exposes the entire situation. The meaning and purpose becomes clear, but only when we unravel it, or we will remain stuck in all our insecurities. We are meant to use problems and troubles to develop abilities and skills, not to be trampled and drowned by it. Solutions are not normally sudden, but a process we follow and within the process lays the meaning. The first steps seem so insignificant and slow, get those are the new foundation - often we need to go back to the beginning and restart the right way and only then do we clearly see where we went wrong. It is far quicker to go back and retrace our steps than to continuously go in circles somewhere in the middle. SO WHEN WE WANT TO HELP - SHOW THE WAY TO THE LIGHT - WE DON'T GET DRAGGED INTO THE DARKNESS BECAUSE THEN NONE CAN SEE THE WAY OUT.....©
