READY AND ABLE

ENTERING LIFE

Life is enormous and there is no way to prepare for every event that will come our way. From young we can be taught manners, etiquette, virtues, values and how to "fit into society". Regardless how well we are " prepared" for life, which sadly most of us aren't really, it is going to take far more than mere "preparation", because life is going to throw us curve balls taking us completely by surprise and out of our comfort zones. What happens now ? Where do we go to for real help, especially when it is out of legal jurisdiction. Lawyers hands are tied by the law, not always justice, police have their hands tied by trying to protect their families, doctors have to abide by their " ethics" and preachers tell us it's "the sins of the fathers". All of them protecting themselves and each other first.  Where shall mans help come from when we find ourselves in no mans land ? IT IS A TERRIFYING EXPERIENCE FEELING SO TOTALLY ALONE AND HELPLESS IN THE FACE OF TROUBLE AND DARKNESS. Very few of us have been taught how to row a boat in the midst of a storm while staying afloat. Very few have a safety net outside of material preparation. Very few have a spiritual connection to the emotional storms and upheavals we face. Very few know how to lift themselves above the storm to where it is clear and calm and where we can see exactly what is going on. We are told " always expect the unexpected", but not what to do when it hits us, which it does. We go into a state of shock and panic, run around in circles and do a lot of things "wrong" by following the path of "the least of the two evils" which follows us like a shadow for the rest of our lives, popping up ever now and then to torment and harass us. We're in this vacuum of confusion, fear and depression and cannot possibly think straight to do the right thing. In my experience, we remain in this "darkness" until we switch on a light. The only light I could find, after exhausting the "human channels", was reconnecting to God through Jesus Christ and obtaining the Holy Spirit. Suddenly the fear is all gone, suddenly we're no longer alone which is an enormous relief, suddenly doors open that we never noticed before as understanding floods our minds, suddenly we see the purpose, meaning and reasons. We realize all events are for training, equipping and developing mental and emotional skills and immediately we find direction and guidance. A spiritual awakening happens inside us  and we start finding all the answers we need. We realize our journey on earth is to equip ourselves with the knowledge and skills we need to overcome and conquer all situations, changing our entire outlook on life. It would be such a remarkable gift to receive young in life.......©
