PLEASE BE GENTLE
Please be gentle, please be sweet,
please make my learning a delectable treat,
you know my times, you know my gaps,
you know when it's time for me to take a nap.
Teach me the potty when I'm ready,
show me nicely and hold me steady,
I can learn when the time is right,
then there won't be any fight.
Show me the sign that I must make,
it's all a matter of give and take,
teach me in a way that's fun,
so we can laugh and play in the sun. ©
